2012 Khmer New Year Thevada:

Preah Neang Kemerea Tevi (កិមិរាទេវី) will usher in the New Year on Friday April 13, 2012 at 7:11pm (GMT+7:00). She is the the sixth of seven daughters of Maha Brahma. An angel riding a dragon, at the front of the procession guides the way. Kemerea will ride on a buffalo and come to earth with a sword in her right hand and on her left a zither, a stringed musical instrument. She wears clothes in the color of white with topaz ornaments. A violet flower similar to that of a lotus flower is tucked behind her ear and bananas is what she prefers as offering.

2011 Khmer New Year Thevada:

Preah Neang Kariney Devi (កិរិណីទេវី) will usher in the New Year on Thursday April 14, 2011 at 1:12pm (GMT+7:00). She is the fifth youngest daughter out seven of Maha Brahma. She will come riding on an elephant joined by thousands of angels. A guide angel riding a rabbit, at the front of the procession guides the way.
Kariney Devi wears clothes in the color of green. Magnolia liliflora (Pka montha?) and emerald are her ornaments. She has a mahout’s hook in her right hand and a crossbow in her left. Her food is sesame seeds and she travels on an elephant.
